Guruvayur

Guruvayur SreeKrishna temple ( a famous Hindu temple ) is situated in Guruvayur town . Lord Krishna , One of the Avatar of Vishnu , is the main diety in this temple . Only Hindus are allowed to enter inside the temple . History says around 5000 years old for this temple , and is constructed in Kerala traditional architectural style . Janmashtami, Ekadasi , and Kumbholsav are main festivals over here. The temple opens at 3'o clock in the morning after 'Palliyunarthal' (Ritual awakening of the Lord) and temple closes at 12.30 pm after different types morning Pooja and Nivedyams. In the evening temple will be opened from 4:30 PM TO 9:30 PM
